Hello, my name is Heather Weaver an I'm a professional celebrant and mum to a daughter, two dogs and three cats!!
I live in a small town on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, very close to the M1. So I'm more than happy to travel to your home or venue to help you celebrate or commemorate in your chosen place and style.
I'm a fully trained celebrant and a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants - so you can rest assured that with me you'll get a highly professional service.
My Background & Style
I am a natural people person and have spent my working life in client-facing roles. As a qualified beauty therapist I worked for many years in salons, most recently in a crazily busy airport base.
I decided to change careers after being massively inspired by the celebrant who conducted my father's funeral service. She made such a special occasion of what was of course a very difficult day - and she created a true reflection of my dad.
I thought this was a wonderful thing to be able to do for families, so I went on to train as a celebrant myself - and truly felt I had found my life's calling. It’s strange how life can throw you a curveball when you least expect it. I love my job and it brings me so much fulfilment to help families and couples plan such meaningful ceremonies.
In my spare time I can be found treading the boards with a local musical theatre group, so I am no stranger to an audience! I also enjoy walking with my dogs, gardening, spending quality time with my partner, family and friends... and enjoying a glass of nice wine or G&T!
